Renault 4 combines range, driving pleasure, performance, and respect for the environment. Its compact AmpR Small platform and fully electric powertrain, designed without rare earth elements, promises a truly optimised driving experience.
Renault 4’s new AmpR Small platform provides an extremely low centre of gravity, significant weight reduction and improved weight distribution. The precise steering and effective damping make driving effortless. The compact electric motor, delivering 110 kW (150 hp) or 90 kW (120 hp), adds a dynamic edge to your drive.
driving pleasure
driving pleasure
The multi-link rear axle, optimised front suspension and reduced turning radius make Renault 4 exceptionally agile. The vehicle’s road handling and dynamic performance are unparalleled in this segment, offering a whole new driving experience.
driving comfort
driving comfort with One Pedal built-in
With the innovative regenerative braking system on Renault 4, energy recovery is optimised with every deceleration. Among the four braking levels controlled via the steering wheel paddles, One Pedal mode lets you come to a complete stop without touching the brake pedal.
interior comfort
comfortable “cocoon-effect” interior
The “Cocoon Effect” (Renault’s patented insulation) absorbs vibrations and road noise for enhanced acoustic comfort. With a 1.53-m width and a 2.62-m wheelbase, Renault 4 offers exceptional driving comfort inside.
Travel up to 409 km* in your fully charged Renault 4. The driving range is enhanced by the motor’s high efficiency and smart energy management.

regenerative braking
regenerative braking
The energy recovery system charges the electric battery during deceleration or when you press the brake pedal. Today, Renault 4 is the brand’s first vehicle to feature the One Pedal function, which maximises regenerative braking to bring the vehicle to a complete stop without even needing to press the brake pedal.
The One Pedal function complements the first three regenerative braking modes and is activated using the steering wheel paddles*.

thermal management
thermal management
The heat pump, coupled with the motor’s and the battery’s energy recovery system, boosts Renault 4’s driving range. It also helps regulate cabin temperature, keeping passengers comfortable no matter the season.
Renault 4 charges easily anywhere. With its 11-kW AC charger, compatible with public charging stations, you can recover up to 75 km of range in just one hour*.
AC charging explained: AC (alternating current) charging delivers low to moderate power (up to 22 kW) and is the most common option at home and on public charging points.
*maximum charging power limited to 11 kW on a standard 22-kW public charging point.
Renault 4 is compatible with all European networks. The DC fast charging system adds up to 165 km of WLTP driving range in just 15 minutes*. With fast charging, it takes only 30 minutes to go from 15 to 80% driving range.
DC charging explained: DC (direct current) fast charging (minimum 50 kW) requires a special rapid charge terminal, available only on public networks. *with 52 kWh comfort-range battery
Renault 4 offers battery temperature pre-conditioning* to help you charge more quickly. When you plan your route on Google Maps, your vehicle automatically adjusts the battery temperature. The system also advises you on the ideal percentage of energy to recover.
Perfect for optimising your journeys. *depending on version and country
The Renault 4 comfort-range battery offers a capacity of 52 kWh, providing a WLTP range of up to 409 km and catering to all types of journeys. The urban-range battery, with a capacity of 40 kWh, is perfectly suited to daily use and motorway driving, offering a WLTP range of up to 322 km.
reparability
Tailored to the new AmpR Small platform, the batteries are designed to simplify repair and recycling. Backed by Renault’s electrical expertise, they come with an 8-year or 160,000-km warranty.
safety
Renault 4 makes emergency interventions easier. With the SD Switch, the battery can be disconnected from the high-voltage network with a single action. With Fireman Access, a battery fire can be controlled in just a few minutes, enhancing firefighter safety.
recyclability
At the end of the vehicle’s life, the batteries, depending on their condition, may be refurbished, reused to store energy in other uses, or recycled. More than 90% of the cobalt, nickel and lithium will then be recycled in a closed loop* to produce new batteries.*Closed-loop recycling of more than 90% of the cobalt, nickel and lithium is being put in place by The Future Is NEUTRAL (a Renault Group subsidiary dedicated to the circular economy) and its partners, and should be operational from 2027.
