The smart mode determines the configuration best suited to the driving situation and automatically switches to the corresponding mode: comfort, sport or eco.
one pedal function
The One Pedal function makes city driving easier by using mainly the accelerator pedal. When released, Megane decelerates to a complete stop. Fully releasing the pedal optimises regenerative braking. Press again to regain speed.

With its energy recovery system, Megane E-Tech electric charges its battery when slowing down or when you press the brake pedal. Five levels of regenerative braking, accessible via steering-wheel-mounted paddles, adapt to road conditions and driver habits, effectively increasing electric range.
heat pump
Particularly useful in winter and available as standard on all versions, the heat pump is combined with a motor and battery energy recovery system to enhance the range of the Megane E-Tech electric and ensure the thermal comfort of its passengers, whatever the conditions.

DC (direct current) charging
With its DC fast-charging system compatible with all European networks, Renault Megane E-Tech electric charges from 15% to 80% in 30 minutes 3 , with a maximum DC power of 150 kW.
optimising electric travel
Take advantage of connected features designed for electric journeys: Megane E-Tech electric offers battery temperature pre-conditioning to help you charge more quickly. With a route programmed on Google Maps, including the selection of charging points, the vehicle automatically adapts the battery temperature to maximise charging power and advises you on the target percentage to recover. Ideal for optimising your journey during winter.
